Stone
This is one of many stones that I have made. I am drawn to the subtlety of the colours, the surface worn smooth, the geology that determines the marks seen within that surface and the unseen history of each one. I did not intend to just replicate the stones, rather to savour the soft tones of grey, pink and blue and to make a form that would be a pleasure to hold in the hand as real stones are, with a weight and a surface that intrigues. One of an infinite number.
